Our Approach

How we work with you

Laser hair removal needs a series because hair grows in cycles. IPL works best on sun damage and redness seen at the surface. We avoid treating tanned skin and adjust settings to your skin type to reduce risk.

What the process looks like

  1. 1Consult to assess your skin type, hair color and the areas to treat.
  2. 2We plan a package of sessions, usually 6 for hair removal.
  3. 3Sessions take 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area.
  4. 4Sessions are spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart for hair removal.

Common Questions

Laser & IPL — FAQ

How many sessions will I need for hair removal?+

Most people need 6 to 8 sessions for a meaningful reduction. Hair grows in cycles, so sessions are spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart depending on the area.

Is laser hair removal permanent?+

It produces a long-lasting reduction, not always complete removal. Most people see an 80 to 90 percent reduction after a full series, with occasional touch-ups.

Does IPL work on all skin types?+

IPL works best on lighter skin with darker hair or pigment. We assess your skin type at consult and may recommend a different laser for darker skin to reduce risk.

Is there downtime?+

IPL and laser hair removal cause mild redness for a few hours to a day. Laser resurfacing can require 5 to 10 days of downtime depending on depth.
